Salice Bianco

White Willow Food Supplement

Extracted at 15% of salicin, it is indicated for joint function, regular perspiration and to prevent localised states of tension.

White Willow has always been considered an excellent anti-rheumatic, antipyretic and pain relieving remedy. The bark (particularly that of the young branches aged 2-3 years) contains salicylates, precursors of salicylic acid (active ingredient of aspirin). Plasma levels of salicylates remains constant for many hours, with a longer effect than synthetic salicylic acid.

Salicin can be used for symptomatic treatment of joint and muscle pain, fever, common colds in a broad sense and as painkiller in case of headache, dental and menstrual pain.

The titrated and standardised plant extract maintains the quality and quantity of natural active ingredients unchanged, ensuring the product's stability, bioavailability and efficacy.

Salicin: active ingredient first extracted from white willow bark in 1825, salicin is a glycoside made up of two molecules, one of which is sugary.

common cold - inflammatory conditions - localised states of tension - osteoarticular and rheumatic disorders
1 capsule 2 times daily with water during meals.
Ingredients for two (2) capsules  
White willow bark 640 mg   
(Salix alba L.)
dry titrated hydroalcoholic extract
15% [96mg] salicin (HPLC method)

 

Other ingredients: maltodextrine, anti-caking agents (vegetable magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide). Capsules of vegetable origin in hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.

Do not take during pregnancy. If you are taking antiaggregant drugs or anticoagulants it is advisable to consult your doctor. It is not recommended for children and adolescents.
