Renjuva LongLife is an innovative formula with BioCell Collagen®, a natural ingredient standardised in hyaluronic acid, depolymerised chondroitin sulphate and partly hydrolysed type II collagen (from purified chicken sternum cartilage). Tested efficacy.

In fact, it presents the profile of a valid nutraceutical for skin protection and joint health. Collagen is the structural protein that forms the supporting structure of several tissues, among which cartilage and skin stand out.

Active ingredients

Hyaluronic Acid: a compound naturally present in the body (found in all connective tissues), it belongs to the glycosaminoglican (GAG) family with tissue supporting and protecting actions.

Chondroitin sulphate: it belongs to the family of glycosaminoglicans (GAG), extracellular matrix components of connective tissue. It is found in cartilage, bone tissue, the cornea, skin and the arterial wall.

Collagen Type II: of animal origin, from chicken sternum. Type II is the most common form. Found in hyaline cartilage, it accounts for 80-90% of the total collagen content.

Vitamin C: water soluble vitamin, whose many properties include contributing to normal synthesis and formation of collagen for healthy skin and cartilage.

According to recent clinical evidence, hyaluronic acid endows the skin with particular resistance and tone, helping to smooth wrinkles. This substance is naturally present in the extracellular skin matrix, and its quantity increases up to the age of 30 years. Its progressive reduction is later observed, right up to its complete absence in subjects aged 60 or more years.

Regarding joint health, for its natural affinity with joint tissues, hyaluronic acid has ananti-inflammatory action, reducing prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) levels. It also slows down progressive deterioration of joint mobility and function.

Chondroitin sulphate, with its hygroscopic activity, it has hydrating properties that are very useful for dry skin. For the same reason it also favours joint function, with a subsequent reduction in pain, swelling and stiffness, as reported by recent clinical studies.

Collagen Type II isone of the most important substances for the health and correct function of the cutaneous barrier. Indeed, it enhances skin elasticity and tone, improving hydration, TEWL (transepidermal water loss) and rough skin. In addition, its oral administration to subjects with joint disorders effectively reduces swelling and frailty, promoting the health of joint structures.

Vitamin C enriches the formula: by stimulating collagen synthesis, it enhances hydration of the protective skin barrier, with important anti-ageing effects, and also protects the bones and cartilage of joints.
