The composition of this extraordinary food is complex, and consists of a blend of proteins, lipids and variable quantities of minerals, vitamins, pheromones and elements that have not been identified as yet.

Lipids are its most characterising fraction, comprising HDA (10-hydroxydecenoic acid), the most typical acid of royal jelly that is present in the highest concentration.

Its naturally rich vitamin content includes especially B1, B2, B3, B6, with a predominance of pantothenic acid and, to a lesser degree, vitamins A, B12, C, D and E. It also contains calcium, copper, iron, phosphorus, potassium, silicon and sulphur.

Royal Jelly can have beneficial effects on mood swings, and it generally has a calming effect. In fact, this food is a natural source of acetylcholine, an organic compound that is present in nervous tissue, and is important for the transmission of nerve impulses.

It supports the immune system during periods of stress and protects skin, hair and nails as a result of the natural presence of B group vitamins, essential nutrientsfor the health of skin adnexa.

The lyophilisation process allows long-term preservation of royal jelly at ambient temperature, leaving the composition and, therefore, the biological activity unchanged.
