Contributes to:

EPA and DHA are polyunsaturated fatty acids with important actions on cardiac function, which they manifest by reducing triglyceride levels, slowing atherosclerotic plaque formation, preventing arrhythmias, improving endothelial function and controlling blood pressure. The beneficial effect of membrane modulation plays a role in some inflammatory, neurological, psychiatric and ocular diseases.

Borage oil, rich in gamma linolenic acid (GLA), an omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid with particular anti-inflammatory effects on the skin.

Linseed oil, rich in alpha linolenic acid, has shown the capacity to reduce LDL cholesterol levels, blood pressure and blood glucose levels. Additional data suggest the capacity of this oil to reduce skin sensitivity, improving the skin’s barrier function.
