Olio di Origano Bio

Food supplement of essential oregano oil

with extra-virgin olive oil in a 1:10 ratio, titrated at 70% of carvacrol.

Medicinal uses of oregano (Origanum vulgare) date back to the ancient Greek and Roman empires, where it was used to treat various disorders, especially due to its antiseptic action.

The name “oregano” comes from the Greek word that means joy of the mountain, as for these people it is a plant associated with a feeling of joy and happiness.

The flowering tips of oregano are rich in essential oil, a compound the plant synthesizes that serves, among other things, to protect it from other microorganisms.

According to recent studies, essential oil shows beneficial effects for human health as well, especially in correlation to the presence of carvacrol. This has been classified as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) and it is the main constituent of essential oil, belonging to the class of terpenes.

The formula in  Olio di Origano Biocombines essential oil of oregano with extra-virgin olive oil to make it less aggressive to the body’s mucosa.
