Wheat Germ Oil, obtained by cold pressing the tender wheat germ, possesses an extraordinary natural nutritional power. Besides vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, there are fatty acidslinoleic acid (omega-3), alpha linolenic (omega-6), palmitoleic and erucic acid, whose effects include improving cellular functions, especially with beneficial effects for nerve cells

Omega-3 are especially effective for cardiovascular diseases by controlling cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

The antioxidant action of this compound has a protective action on cell membranes against the aggression of free radicals, and it is particularly useful to prevent cellular oxidation, especially in the cardiocirculatory system.

Moreover, this action can prevent early skin ageing resulting from exposure to harmful agents, such as excessive exposure to sunlight, atmospheric pollution and cigarette smoking.

Oleic Acid (omega-9): essential omega-9 unsaturated fatty acid that is present in considerable quantities in olive oil. It is a stable fat that is resistant to both high temperatures and light.
