Food Supplement of Lactobacillus acidophilus

Contains 5 billion live and active lactic bacteria to favour balanced intestinal flora. Lactose-free.

Probiotics are most documented as therapy for intestinal infections. Lactobacilli play an important role in intestinal pH control by protecting the intestine and promoting the body’s detox process.

Lactobacillus acidophilus are useful in case of poor digestion associated with dyspepsia. Promising results have been obtained against H. pylori infection.

Probiotics are indicated for the cholesterol metabolism, and healthy effects have been recorded for allergic diseases (atopic dermatitis, asthma, rhinitis), gynaecological disorders, urinary tract infections (cystitis, prostatitis) and inflammatory intestinal infections.

Lactobacillus acidophilus: it is the lactobacillus strain with the highest concentration in the human intestine. It is also present in other parts of the human body (oral cavity, vagina). It is involved in B group vitamin assimilation and production, and enhances the activity of the enzyme beta-galactosidase, which improves tolerance to lactose in subjects presenting lactase deficiency.
