Maca Food Supplement

Titrated at 0.6% of macamides and macaenes, a useful restorative-adaptogenic compound and metabolic adjuvant for any type of physical and mental weariness.

This herbaceous native plant of the Peruvian Andes is grown as food at altitudes in the range of 3,700-4,000 m.

Maca seems to have some effect on sexual performance, at times influencing hormone levels and favouring their synthesis.

Its action on the hypothalamus-hypophyseal axis could explain the stimulant capacity of this plant on adrenal glands.

It can have a beneficial effect on certain sexual disorders and on the loss of sexual drive, improving overall mood and well-being in subjects with erectile dysfunction.

It can alleviate erectile dysfunction induced by the use of SSRI antidepressants and increase sex drive.

Even in menopausal women, it diminishes psychological symptoms, including anxiety, depression and loss of sex drive.
