Lentinula Food Supplement

Titrated at 50% of polysaccharides and at 15% of β(1,3-1,6)-D-glucans. Produced by organic farming, it is indicated to boost the body’s natural defences.

Lentinula is named after its typical lenticular shape. Called Shaingugu or Scented Mushroom in China, it is one of the most world famous edible mushrooms for its peculiar flavour and high nutritional value.

Widely used in ancient China even before the development of paddy fields, Lentinula has been appreciated in Japan and China both as a food and as a natural remedy since prehistoric times. According to tradition, its cultivation commenced ca. 1,000 years ago.

Scientific evidence shows that the presence of trealose, a sugar whose content is high in Lentinula, stimulates the formation of beneficial bacteria for the colon, favouring the well-being of the whole body and, specifically, of the intestine.

It has anti-viral properties that contribute to strengthen the immune system and defences in a broad sense. There is evidence that Lentinula can be effective against the proliferation of bacteria in the mouth and in preventing the formation of obstructions in the arteries. In fact, this mushroom reduces total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Organic Lentinula titrated at 50% of polysaccharides and at 15% of β(1,3-1,6)-D-glucans, with Lentinula edodes, derived from DNA-certified mushroom strains.
