Titrated at 30% of polysaccharides and at 15% of β(1,3-1,6)-D-glucans. Produced by organic farming, it is indicated to boost the body’s natural defences.

Grifola frondosa, called King of Mushrooms for the remarkable dimensions of the clusters it forms (up to 45 cm width), has been used as a remedy and food for more than 3,000 years.

Grifola possesses intrinsic properties that make it an effective remedy to reduce lipid build up in the liver and in tissues. Some studies suggest that it helps to reduce the deposit of fatty acids taken with food, and that it can regulate blood pressure, blood glucose levels and insulin.

Moreover, grifola can be useful to stabilise good cholesterol (HDL) and to control bad cholesterol (LDL) and blood glucose levels.

Some preliminary data indicate that grifola extract can have beneficial effects on patients with polycystic ovary syndrome.
