Glucosamine is one of the structural building blocks of glycosaminoglycans and of other macromolecules that form the extracellular matrix of connective tissue.

Besides reducing pain and joint stiffness, glucosamine can reduce to a minimum the loss of cartilage, particularly in osteoarthrosis.

Moreover, it is an important precursor of hyaluronic acid, a compound that can preserve hydration and skin elasticity. Scientific studies report the capacity to accelerate skin cicatrisation, improve hydration and reduce wrinkles.

Furthermore, as inhibitor of tyrosinase activation, it can prevent the production of melanin; therefore, it could be used for hyperpigmentation disorders.

This compound also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects that are implemented by modulating the Nuclear Factor-kB (NF-kB), a factor that controls the production of inflammatory cytokines and cellular survival.

Active principles

Glucosamine Sulphate: amino monosaccaride component of glycosaminoglycans (GAG), essential constituents of joint cartilage and skin. It is one of the major constituents of the shell of crustaceans and other arthropods. It is also present in mushrooms and in many superior organisms.

1 capsule a day with water during meal.

Ingredients: D-glucosamine sulphate 2KCl - da CRUSTACEANS (664mg/cps), anti-caking agents (vegetable magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide). Gelatin capsule.

Warnings

In case of diabetes, monitor plasma glucose levels.
