Gimnema

Gimnema Food Supplement

Titrated at 25% of gymnemic acid, indicated for carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, and to control hunger pangs.

Gymnema is traditionally considered a plant that effectively controls glycaemia and is, therefore, an adjuvant remedy for pre-diabetes and diabetes type 2.

In fact, gymnema can inhibit perception of the sweet flavour, thus helping to control the consumption of sugary foodstuffs.

Gymnema, leaf: besides some constituents, such as gumarin, alkaloids and saponins, the leaves contain gymnemic acid, which is involved in carbohydrate and lipid metabolism and controls hunger pangs.
