  • Restores the balance of intestinal bacterial flora

Data is convincing about the potential therapeutic effect of milk enzymes for various functional disorders of the gastroenteric tract, particularly irritable bowel syndromehypercholesterolaemia and lactose intolerance.

In chronic and acute intestinal disorders, lactobacilli very effectively reduce flatulence, abdominal pain, diarrhoea and constipation.

Moreover, milk enzymes present interesting immunostimulating and immunomodulating characteristics, and can, therefore, alleviate the symptoms of certain intestinal and autoimmune inflammatory diseases.

Easy and safe to dose in powder form, Floractive encourages prompt and effective assimilation.

Lactobacillus acidophilus: the lactobacillus that prevails in the human intestine. It is also present in other parts of the human body (oral cavity, vagina). It is involved in the assimilation and production of B group vitamins, and enhances the activity of the enzyme beta-galactosidase, which improves tolerance to lactose in subjects presenting lactase deficiency.

Lactobacillus plantarum: bacterial species of the Lactobacillaceae family. It produces lactic acid and inhibits the growth of pathogens in the gastrointestinal tract.

Streptococcus thermophilus: the only species of the genre Streptococcus of dietary interest. In fact, it can be found in cheese and yoghurt as it is widely used for their production.

F.O.S.:  fructooligosaccharides, dietary fibre soluble and resistant to digestion in the superior tract of the gastrointestinal system, they encourage growth of bifidobacteria in the large intestine, thus reducing putrefactive flora and the related microbial degradation.
