Fenugreek Food Supplement

Titrated at 85% of dietary fibre for regular digestive function, and to favour carbohydrate, triglyceride and cholesterol metabolism.

Several studies document that the administration of fenugreek seed extracts can control blood glucose levels. By regulating the absorption of sugar, FenuLife® transforms rapid carbohydrates into slow carbohydrates, thus making the glycaemic load more suitable for low glycaemic load diets.

FenuLife®is involved in body weight control by increasing the sensation of satiety. In fact, this extract can bind up to 16-fold its weight, forming a viscous mass that conveys a feeling of satiety and reducing blood glucose levels after meals.

FenuLife® has also been tested for gastroesophageal reflux control with good results.

In a 2-week study (see graph) 45 subjects with pyrosis 3-8 times a week were administered FenuLife® (4 tablets, 500 mg twice a day), an antacid (75 mg of ratinidine twice a day) or a placebo. The results provide evidence of the superior effects of FenuLife® in reducing the episodes of pyrosis. They also reveal an inhibitory effect on overproduction of acid.

This product contains FenuLife®, a standardised odourless extract titrated at 85% of dietary fibre (galactomannans) obtained from fenugreek seeds.
