Auricularia Food Supplement

titrated at 50% of polysaccharides and at 15% of β(1,3-1,6)-D-glucans. Produced by organic farming, it is indicated to boost the body’s natural defences.

Auricularia is a dark red mushroom devoid of stem that owes its name to the typical appearance that recalls an ear lobe. It grows all year round on the aged trunks of elder, elm, maple and mango trees.

Common in the warmest northern temperate zones and in the East (i.e., China and Japan), it is considered a delicacy, with a sweet and pleasant flavour. It has been used as a popular remedy for centuries, and also by Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The components of this mushroom have several properties that favour cardiovascular health, with highly beneficial effects on veins and capillaries.

Moreover, auricularia intervenes in fatty acid and sugar metabolism, reducing their absorption and favouring a reduction in cholesterol and blood glucose levels.

The mushroom presents a high content of fibre, compared to other mushroom varieties, and is useful for subjects with functional constipation.
